These local property tax matters are before me on the motion of the municipality to disqualify the attorneys for taxpayers on the ground that they represented the City of Atlantic City in negligence and workers’ compensation claims and appeared as attorneys of record in the courts of this State in defense of such claims at the very times that they filed a complaint, a cross-claim and counterclaims against the city seeking reductions in the local property tax assessments on Caesar’s Boardwalk Regency Hotel and Casino property.
