POLLOCK, District Judge.
This action at law was brought by plaintiff against defendants jointly to recover damages for breach of contract to supply plaintiff with natural gas used by it in its work of manufacturing brick. A trial before the court and jury was had, resulting in a verdict in favor of plaintiff against defendants, jointly, for the sum of $15,000. On the return of the verdict, the court, on its own motion, directed the clerk to. not enter judgment thereon until certain matters of law might be presented and determined by the court.
