Plaintiff’s action is to foreclose a mechanic’s lien alleged to exist against certain real estate of defendants in Keokuk, Iowa, and to recover certain sums claimed to be due thereunder. Defendants admit that plaintiff performed certain services and furnished material for them on the premises but deny that the services were rendered as claimed and further allege that the amounts sought to be collected were in violation of and in excess of that allowed by the Office of Price Administration (OPA) regulations.
