William James Henderson is a pre-trial detainee in the Carroll County Jail who has been charged with murdering his ex-wife’s two children and other crimes. The State has announced its intention to seek the death penalty. This appeal arises out of a motion to suppress Henderson filed in regard to writings he made which were seized by law enforcement officers after a search of Henderson’s jail cell.
