OPINION

{¶ 1} Defendant-appellant, Perry R. Silverman, pro se, appeals from the judgment of the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas denying his petition for postconviction relief brought pursuant to R.C. 2953.21.

{¶ 2} By three separate indictments, appellant was charged with 18 felony counts — one count of tampering with records, two counts of tampering with evidence, one count of falsification, one count of forgery, 12 counts of theft, and one count of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity.
