KOELTL, District Judge:
Valery Novak (“Novak”), Vladimir Topko (“Topko”), Sergey Ilgner (“Ilgner”), and Vya-cheslav Kirillovich Ivankov (“Ivankov”) appeal from judgments of conviction entered in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York (Carol Bagley Amon, Judge) following a six week jury trial. The jury convicted all four of conspiracy to commit extortion, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1951, and appellants Novak, Ilgner, and Ivankov of attempted extortion, in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 1951 and 2.
