Gardith Lemy and Marilyn Hill sued eleven defendants (“the insurers”) for allegedly selling worthless and illegal surplus line automobile insurance. In this order two of the eleven will presently need the distinction of a name: Certain Underwriters at Lloyd’s (the surplus line insurer) and Direct General (the producing agent).
