BRADY, Justice:

This is an appeal from the Circuit Court of Harrison County, Mississippi, wherein the appellant, Ernestine Brewster, a resident of Mobile, Alabama, brought an action against Bubba Oustalet, Inc., a Mississippi corporation, and a Ford dealer in Gulfport, Mississippi, for actual and punitive damages occasioned by the sale of an automobile by the appellee to the appellant. The appellant asked for damages in the amount of $25,000, including both actual and punitive damages. The jury returned a verdict for the appellant in the amount of $280 and from this verdict the appellant…
