Before the Court is a pro se petition for a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254 by Ammayeh Benton (“Petitioner”). On June 2, 2011, Petitioner was sentenced to a term of four to twelve years imprisonment for Manslaughter in the Second Degree under New York Penal Law § 125.15(1). Dkt. 1 (“Petition Form”) at 1.
