OPINION

OLIVER, Judge.

Represented by retained counsel, two separate cases against Ronald Lewis Sotka, alias Ronald Lewis Freeman, in which he was indicted for the first degree murder of his wife Patricia and his step-daughter Donna, respectively, were tried together with the consent and agreement of his counsel and the State. He was convicted of first degree murder in both cases and was sentenced to imprisonment in the State Penitentiary for 99 years in each case, the trial judge ordered the sentences to be served consecutively, and the cases are now before this Court by his duly perfected…
