This is an appeal by complainants below from a decree dismissing a bill brought for infringement of patent No. 652,542, for an improvement in broom cases, granted Samuel C. Lay, June 26, 1900. The defenses are: (1) Prior sale or use two. years before filing the application for the patent. (2) Prior sale or use two years before filing a prior application for a patent on the same invention.
