Appellant was convicted of felony theft in the Criminal District Court of Harris County and her punishment fixed at five years confinement in the penitentiary.
The indictment in this case was in the ordinary form for a felony theft, it being charged therein that appellant took from Dora Wilson a check of the value of one thousand dollars with intent to deprive said Wilson and to appropriate same to her own benefit.
