MEMORANDUM OPINION
JOHN H. SQUIRES, Bankruptcy Judge.
This matter comes before the Court on the motion of the debtor/plaintiff, William J. McGuane (the “Debtor”), for summary judgment pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 56 and Federal Rule of Bankruptcy Procedure 7056 on the complaint filed by the Debtor to avoid a preferential transfer made to the creditor/defendant Everest Trading, LLC (“Everest”) pursuant to 11 U.S.C. §§ 547(b) and 550(a).
