This appeal involves the ex parte appointment of a father as the natural tutor of his minor children. The father, appellee, Shannon Keith Watts (“Mr. Watts”), filed a petition to be confirmed as the natural tutor of his minor children, Joel Landon Watts (“Joel”) and Charity Hope Watts (“Charity”).2 The trial court signed an order appointing Mr. Watts as the natural tutor of the minor children and letters of tutorship were subsequently issued by the clerk.
