— Plaintiff is a common carrier by motor vehicle of property for hire in interstate commerce, and sues for the recovery of freight charges due from the defendant to it for a number of shipments of eggs.
Defendant, in its answer, admitted that it owed the amount of the charges, but asked to be credited for the amount of its loss suffered by reason of a decline in the market value of .a certain shipment of eggs from Kansas City to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
