We granted'certiorari in this case to review a decision of the Supreme Court of Ohio invalidating a state statute on the ground that it constituted a denial of procedural due process guaranteed by the Fourteenth Amendment. The statute in question provided that the value placed upon his stock by a dissenting shareholder should, after six months and under 'certain circumstances, “conclusively be deemed to . be equal to” the fair cash value.
