OPINION

BENAVIDES, Justice.

Appellant, David Morris, was convicted of murder and sentenced to serve sixty years in the Texas Department of Corrections. This appeal involves a challenge to appellant’s conviction based on a jury verdict which rejected his affirmative defense of insanity. We affirm the conviction.

In his original brief, appellant asserts three points of error: (1) there was insufficient evidence to support a conviction for murder; (2) the evidence was insufficient to show the cause of death was by shooting the victim with a firearm; and (3) the trial court erred in permitting the…
