This action is brought under the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 (“FMLA”), 26 U.S.C. §§ 2601-19 (2000). The plaintiff alleges that her former employer, Sun Trust, violated the FMLA by interfering with her substantive rights and retaliating against her for engaging in protected activity. After conducting discovery, the plaintiff has filed a Motion for Sanctions for Destruction of Evidence [Doc. No. 30] and a Motion for Summary Judgment [Doc.
