Action by a real estate broker to recover the sum of $318.75, alleged to be due him as commissions for the sale of certain real estate. The material allegations of the complaint are, in substance, as follows:(1) That the defendant, Thos. E. Parker, the owner of a certain lot of real estate in Greenville, authorized the. plaintiff, Williams, to sell this lot at a certain price; that pain-tiff accepted this authority and set to work to find a purchaser; that he interested Dr. A.
