MIKVA, Circuit Judge:
This multi-faceted sex discrimination suit was brought by women bindery workers at the Government Printing Office (GPO). They sought relief under two statutes: the Equal Pay Act of 1963, 29 U.S.C. § 206(d) (1976), and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e-2 (1976).
