OPINION OF THE COURT

CASTILLE, Justice.

This is a direct appeal from a sentence of death 1 imposed by the Court of Common Pleas of Dauphin County. Following a jury trial, appellant was convicted of the first degree murder 2 and kidnapping 3 of Selina Franklin, and of the first degree murder 4 of Stephanie McDuffey. The jury found two aggravating circumstances 5 relating to each murder conviction which outweighed the six mitigating circumstances 6 and therefore returned two consecutive death sentences.
