OPINION
SCHNEIDER, Chief Justice.
This interlocutory appeal arises from a libel suit brought by Gordon Fowkes and his wife, Bettina Fowkes, against KTRK Television, Inc. (Channel 13 or Undercover 13) and reporter Wayne Dolcefino (collectively “the media defendants”). Fowkes also asserted tortious interference with employment relationship, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligenee/gross negligence causes of action.
