On January 5, 1953, Mrs. Pauline M. Shriner, one of the appellants, left her home in Woodboro, Frederick County, driving alone in the 1950 Buick automobile owned by her husband, Marlin L. Shriner, the other appellant, with the intention of going to Westminster for a twelve o’clock appointment at a beauty shop.
