delivered the opinion of the Court:

This was a bill for injunction, alleging, in substance, that at the September term, 1873, of the county court of Cook county, a judgment was rendered against certain property of the appellant for taxes levied thereon by the city of Chicago; that an appeal was prayed from the judgment, and an appeal bond, in conformity to law, presented and approved by the court; that the appeal was denied, because the appellant refused to deposit the amount of the judgment with the county treasurer; that a petition setting forth these facts was filed in…
