This is a special statutory proceeding brought under the Corrupt Practices Act (§ 36-2401- § 36-2454, Oregon Code 1930) by a voter and resident of the state of Oregon to compel the defendants to file an itemized statement with the secretary of state showing contributions and 'expenditures made by various individuals, organizations, and committees for the pur-’ pose of securing the passage of an initiative measure entitled, “A Bill Regulating Picketing and Boycotting by Labor Groups and Organizations.” The measure was approved by a majority vote at the regular election on November 8, 1938.…
