This is an original proceeding in mandamus to compel the respondent, as Judge of the Independence Division of the Circuit Court of Jackson County, to proceed to the trial and final determination of an action for damages lately pending in that court, which action, upon the sustension of appropriate motions filed by defendants therein, was by respondent ordered abated for want of venue in Jackson County.
