Plaintiffs, husband and wife, brought their action in the court below to recover damages from the defendant company for personal injuries suffered by each of them, and losses a'nd expenses occasioned the husband, through the alleged negligence of defendant’s servants in failing to protect plaintiffs, while passengers upon one of its trolley car's, from assaults committed upon them during the. progress of a brawl for which a group of disorderly young men, also- passengers on the car, were responsible.
