Petitioner-Appellant Tarkisha Brown appeals from a judgment entered on March 30, 2007, in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (Jed S. Rakoff, Judge) denying her petition for a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. She asserts that the state trial court unreasonably applied Batson v.
