Gladys "Victoria Woods brought two suits against the Gulf, Colorado & Santa Fé Railway Company, in the district court of Lampasas county, for damages for the death of her father and mother which resulted from the automobile in which they were riding falling from a bridge near the railway company’s right of way near Lampasas, on December 31, 1922. These suits were first filed by next friend, but later her guardian was substituted as plaintiff, the suits were consolidated, the cases submitted to a jury upon special issues.
