Defendant, George J. Cottage, filed this appeal from the district court’s order of October 19, 2001, which denied his motion for leave to file a supplemental petition to set aside his conviction under 28 U.S.C. § 2255. Defendant’s plea-based conviction was for distributing more than 500 grams of cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1). The order appealed from was the last of several decisions denying relief, which defendant sought on the grounds that he had been entrapped by a government informant.
