ODOM, Justice.
On January 15, 1944, the plaintiff, Yuges Realty, Limited, a corporation, entered into an agreement with the Jefferson Parish Developers, Inc., the defendant, which agreement was reduced to writing. By the terms of this agreement the plaintiff agreed to sell to the defendant, and the defendant agreed to purchase from the plaintiff, a square of ground, Square 1973 in the City of New Orleans,' hounded on the north by Benefit, on the south by Treasure, on the east by Mandeville, and on the west by Marigny Street, for a stipulated consideration of $10,500 cash.
