This is an action on a policy of life insurance, dated December 6, 1910, and delivered to Harry Cohner, tbe assured, December 17, 1910.' Conner was twenty-one years of age, unmarried and plaintiff, Ms mother, was made his beneficiary. He died at his mother’s home in Kansas City, December 29, 1910, twelve days after the delivery of the policy to him. The answer alleges that defendant is a fraternal beneficiary society, incorporated in the State of Kansas and licensed to do business in this State, but defendant failed to prove that at the- time the policy was issued it was authorized to do…
