STREIT, Justice.

A school district denied a teacher’s application for early retirement incentives because she did not meet the plan’s minimum age requirement. She sued, arguing the school district’s decision violated the Iowa Civil Rights Act’s prohibition on age discrimination. She and the school district brought cross motions for summary judgment. Both were denied. We granted the school district’s motion for interlocutory appeal and now reverse.
