In Docket No. 251408, defendant was convicted, following a jury trial, of first-degree, premeditated murder, MCL 750.316(l)(a); felon in posses*465sion of a firearm, MCL 750.224Í; and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, MCL 750.227b, arising out of the murder of Larry Rogers. Defendant was sentenced to life imprisonment for the first-degree murder conviction, thirty-eight to sixty months’ imprisonment for the felon in possession of a firearm conviction, and five years’ imprisonment for the felony-firearm conviction.
