¶ 1. A jury found Thomas Sterz-inger guilty of fleeing an officer, contrary to Wis. Stat. § 346.04(3) (1999-2000), 1 after he failed to obey a police officer's signal to stop his vehicle. Sterzinger claims the instructions given to the jury regarding the elements of the offense were deficient in that they failed to specify that in order to find him guilty, the jury must be convinced: (1) that he actually interfered with or endangered the operation of another vehicle or pedestrian; and (2) that he did so knowingly.
