This is a petitory action and, from a judgment rejecting the demands of plaintiff and decreeing the defendants to be the true and lawful owners of the property described in the petition, the plaintiff appealed.

The petition alleges that plaintiff is the owner of the S. E. Vi of section 22, and the east % of N. E. Vi of section 2T, township 23 north, range 11 east, West Carroll parish, La.; that it acquired said property from the board of commissioners of the Tensas Basin Levee District on November 9, 1898; that the deed of conveyance is of record in Notarial Book D, page 168, conveyance…
