On October 20, 2011, the Plaintiff Lyle Martinez (the “Plaintiff’) commenced this action against Suffolk County, the Suffolk County Police Department, Sergeant William Krause (“Krause”), Sergeant Peter Hansen (“Hansen”), and John and Jane Does, police officers in the Suffolk County Police Department believed to be associated with the Third Precinct.
