[¶ 1] Defendant Daniel Donovan appeals from the judgments entered in the Superior Court (Kennebec County, Alexander, J.) following a jury verdict finding him guilty of gross sexual assault (Class A), 17-A M.R.S.A. § 253 (Supp.1996); assault (Class D), 17-A M.R.S.A. § 207 (1983 & Supp.1996); criminal mischief (Class D), 17-A M.R.S.A. § 806 (1983 & Supp.1996); and violation of a baü condition (Class E), 15 M.R.S.A. § 1092 (Supp.1996).
