In an action to recover on a promissory note brought by motion for summary judgment in lieu of complaint pursuant to CPLR 3213, the defendants appeal from (1) an order of the Supreme Court, Richmond County (Fusco, J.), dated March 11, 2008, which granted the motion, and (2) a judgment of the same court entered April 8, 2008, which, upon the order, is in favor of the plaintiff and against them in the principal sum of $500,000. *623The notice of appeal from the order dated March 11, 2008, is deemed also to be a notice of appeal from the judgment (see CPLR 5501 [c]).
