OPINION

LEWIS, Judge.

This is an appeal by defendant/appellant, American Environmental Protection, Inc. (“AEP”), from a jury verdict rendered in the Davidson County Chancery Court. The jury determined AEP was liable to plaintiff'appel-lee, United Brake Systems, Inc. (“UBS”), 1 for misrepresentation, conversion, and unfair competition. In addition, the court directed a verdict against AEP on UBS’s breach of contract claim. The jury awarded UBS $130,892.00, court costs, attorney’s fees, and $100,000.00 in punitive damages.
