MEMORANDUM OPINION

I. INTRODUCTION

Plaintiff Donald D. Parked (“plaintiff’), an inmate at the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution, Wilmington, Delaware, filed his complaint pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983.1 He proceeds pro se and has been granted leave to proceed without prepayment of fees. Presently before the court are defendants’ motions for summary judgment and plaintiffs oppositions thereto.
