This appeal comes up on demurrer to the answer, which was sustained in the Court below, with leave to amend. The defendants elected to stand upon the answer without amendment, and final judgment accordingly passed for the plaintiffs.
In reply to the suggestion of the respondents that the appeal ought not to be entertained, because there is no statement of the grounds upon which the appellants rely for a reversal, it is sufficient to say that the grounds appear upon the judgment roll, and that where such is the case no statement is required.
