The fifty-ninth section of the Act concerning Courts of justice and judicial officers, (Wood’s Digest, 147,) appoints the days upon which the terms of the Courts of Sessions are to be held; and the ninety-fifth section of the same Act prescribes what shall be done by the Sheriff or Clerk, if the Judge or Judges of the Court do not appear on the day appointed for the commencement of the term.
