Based on all of the credible evidence, the Court finds and rules as follows.

In this case, the plaintiff Killian Corp. (“Killian”) sued defendants to recover the unpaid balance ($27,000) of what was owed to plaintiff under a contract for $127,000 to remodel defendants’ home, and defendants (“Murphy”) counter-claimed for plaintiffs alleged failure to perform the contract in a workmanlike manner and within a reasonable time period, the delay allegedly resulting in rain damage to the home and its contents.1 The jury returned a verdict of $20,000 against the defendants on…
