Michael Wayne Deeter, defendant, was charged with a violation of § 35-347.31 (c), W.S.1957 (1971 Cum.Supp.) for knowingly or intentionally possessing controlled substances, namely marihuana and LSD. On trial by jury he was convicted and sentenced to a five-month term in the county jail and assessed a fine of $800.
