This is an appeal by the government, defendant below, from a judgment entered on the verdict of a jury holding that the plaintiff became totally and permanently disabled on January 1, 1926, and that his $10,000’ policy of war risk insurance matured on that date. Several errors are assigned, but the only question, we consider is the correctness of the court’s denial of the defendant’s motion for. a directed verdict at the close of all the evidence; it being the government’s contention that the appellee, Ingalls, was not in fact or in law permanently and totally disabled,…
