DThe State of Louisiana appeals the denial of a Motion to Correct Illegal Sentence from the 24th Judicial District Court, Division “G”. For the following reasons, we dismiss the appeal.
On January 20, 2011, the Jefferson Parish District Attorney filed a bill of information charging Defendant, Jacob Schwartz, with third offense of driving while intoxicated in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:98(A)(D). That same day, Defendant was arraigned and pleaded not guilty to the charge. Subsequently, on June 13, 2011, Defendant withdrew his plea of not guilty and entered a plea of guilty.…
