TATEL, Circuit Judge:

George Washington University denied appellant, an African American born in 1951, promotions to all three positions she applied for over the course of a year. Resigning from GW, appellant sued, claiming race discrimination under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and 42 U.S.C. § 1981, age discrimination under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, retaliation, constructive discharge, and breach of contract.
