Defendants Javier Velez and James Lukeson, officers in the New York City Pólice Department (“NYPD”), and defendant Gary Calhoun, an NYPD sergeant,, appeal from a judgment entered in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York following a jury trial before Jack B.
