—Judgment, Supreme Court, New York County (Patricia Williams, J.), rendered March 17, 1995, convicting defendant, after a jury trial, of murder in the second degree, and sentencing him to a term of 25 years to life, unanimously affirmed.

The verdict was based on legally sufficient evidence and was not against its weight. When assessed in the light most favorable to the People and giving them the benefit of every reasonable inference, the proof was sufficient to establish defendant’s guilt of the crime charged beyond a reasonable doubt.
